A must-have experience requirement:

• Scale Typically at least 30–50MW+ per project or campus, often US$200M+; for hyperscale, often 100MW+
• Track record: Several data centres taken from design through to handover, ideally with commissioning completed (L1–L5)
• EPC exposure: Worked for an EPC contractor or under EPC/design-and-build contracts, managing design, procurement, construction, subcontractors, claims and variations
• Technical depth: Credible command of MEP: HV/MV power, UPS, generators, cooling (including liquid cooling for AI loads), redundancy (N+1, 2N), and Tier III/IV or equivalent
• Client type: Hyperscalers or major colocation operators, which tend to have demanding standards and schedules
• Delivery pressure: Fast-track programmes, long-lead equipment procurement, live site or phased expansion work, and large teams
