Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in the overall planning, coordination, and execution of jetty and marine construction works
• Supervise daily site operations, ensuring works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Coordinate marine and civil construction activities including:
  • Jetty structures
  • Piling works
  • Reinforced concrete works
  • Steel structures
  • Mooring and berthing systems
  • Dredging and reclamation interface works
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical and site matters
• Review technical drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly site reports
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality assurance activities
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and marine regulations
• Assist in resolving technical and construction issues on site
• Attend project meetings and support documentation management
• Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower, and work schedules
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe work practices at site

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in marine, jetty, port, coastal, or heavy civil infrastructure projects
• Familiar with marine construction methodologies and site coordination
• Experience in piling, reinforced concrete, structural steel, or marine works will be an advantage
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
• Familiar with local authority and safety requirements in Singapore
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic project planning software
• Able to work in a fast-paced site environment
